Description

A VESDA-E VEU, VEP, VEP-1P or VES aspirating smoke detector of the GA3 baseline holds an MK3 smoke detection chamber, and that chamber can be specified by itself under the code VSP-964-03.

It fits GA3 detectors only. GA4 detectors take VSP-964-04, and GA2 detectors took VSP-964, which is now obsolete. Worth knowing alongside that: the VESDA-E VEU keeps the VESDA VLP mounting footprint, along with the pipe, conduit and electrical connector positioning that goes with it.

VSP-964-03 is the VESDA-E Smoke Detection Chamber - MK3, the detection chamber fitted to VESDA-E VEU, VEP, VEP-1P and VES aspirating smoke detectors of the GA3 baseline and orderable as a spare part in its own right; it is also named Detektionskammer VESDA-E - MK3. GA4 detectors, which have the GA4 mark printed on them, take VSP-964-04, and GA2 detectors took VSP-964, which is now obsolete. One of the detectors it serves, the VESDA-E VEU, shares the VESDA VLP mounting footprint, and with that footprint the pipe, conduit and electrical connector positioning.
