Description
Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems have to be smoke tested, and this pen simplifies that work by producing a trail of smoke that holds steady.
VSP-810 takes refillable wicks and behaves like a mechanical pencil: the wick goes into the pen and leaves a 10mm trace, which is then lit with a lighter or match. The wick's patented design is what keeps the trail continuous and consistent, and putting the lid back on afterwards extinguishes the smoke quickly, so the wick stays ready for re-use at a later date.

VSP-810 is the VESDA Smoke Pen, a hand-held device that generates a continuous smoke trail for Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) system testing. It works like a mechanical pencil on refillable wicks: a wick is inserted into the pen, leaving a 10mm trace that can subsequently be ignited by either a lighter or match. The patented design of the wick ensures a continuous and consistent smoke trail.
