Xtralis VHX-1410 VESDA Wall Modbus HLI Type 2

VHX-1410 is the Xtralis wall-mounted VESDA Modbus High Level Interface, Type 2, designed to link a VESDAnet network with host systems such as PC software, Building Management Systems, or Fire Alarm Control Panels that support the Modbus protocol, featuring the echoing function disabled. It operates on a 24 VDC supply with a quiescent current consumption of 70 mA and a corresponding power consumption of 1.68 W. The unit connects via a VESDAlink RS-232 9-way serial cable for direct host interface connectivity.

Measuring 280 mm x 185 mm x 55 mm and weighing 1.0 kg, the VHX-1410 is intended for wall-mounted installation with a mounting point of Ø 6.5 mm. It supports up to 200 VESDA devices on a VESDAnet network, including a maximum of 40 detectors and associated ancillary devices, and interfaces to the network via RS-232. Configuration is performed using Xtralis monitoring and configuration software packages, with no modem support available. Compatibility extends to VESDA VLP, VLF, VLC, VLS detectors and Remote Display units within VESDAnet systems. Physical wiring details are documented in the installation manual.
