Description

Under the part number VER-A40-40-STX, the 40-Relay Local StaX brings relay expansion to VEA aspirating smoke detection. Its place is with the VEA-040-A00 and VEA-040-A10 aspirating smoke detectors of the VESDA-E VEA series, as an accessory to those detectors and not as detection equipment. The StaX relays give secondary reporting, signalling where the alarm is. The Fire 1 relay of the detector must be wired to the fire alarm control panel for primary alarm reporting.

VER-A40-40-STX is the VESDA-E VEA 40-Relay Local StaX, an expansion and relay module accessory in VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection rather than a detector in its own right. It belongs to the VESDA-E VEA series, the same series that covers the VEA-040-A00 and VEA-040-A10 aspirating smoke detectors, which are the detectors this module is an accessory to.
