Description
The Gent S2IP-SN-R3 is a red backwards compatible wall sounder that replaces the 34203 three-way sounder. It is a loop-powered addressable device in the System range. It comes with the sounder front, deep base, six-way terminal block with connecting wires, base gasket and circular wall gasket. Its three-way wiring has separate loop input, loop output and common-line connections to a spur. The terminal block fits inside the back of the base, with an earth continuity strap retained in the base. The System range provides audible alarms without a strobe option. Mount the sounder with TOP uppermost and keep the transparent PCB cover in place.

The S2IP-SN-R3 is the red Gent System range sounder for replacing a 34203 three-way sounder. It is supplied with the sounder front, deep base, wired six-way terminal block, base gasket and circular wall gasket for retrofit installation. The S2IP-SN-W3 provides the white colour alternative.
The three-way connection comprises loop input, loop output and a common line to a spur. Loop input connects at L1 and 01, loop output at L2 and 02, and the common line at LC and 0C. The supplied terminal block sits inside the back of the base. The sounder takes its power from the addressable device loop.
System range sounders use a deep base and have no strobe option. Mount the device with TOP uppermost, retain the transparent PCB cover and keep the earth continuity strap in the base. Do not flush mount the base or paint the enclosure. Cable tails at the connection point must be no longer than 10cm.
Set the sounder volume during commissioning and verify the setting after configuration. Sound outputs in this addressable sounder range are synchronised on the same fire panel.
