Technical overview
PIP-027 is a capped air-sampling test point sized for 10 mm pipe, part of the Pipework, Fittings & Fixtures range for aspirating smoke detection systems. On an installed run the fitting gives a sealed access position where testing and air-flow verification can be carried out, with the cap keeping the point closed during normal operation. Listed under an EU ordering code, PIP-027 supersedes the earlier REDAST025C-10; for the physical connections, refer to the installation manual.
