Description
Solvent-weld cement joins ABS aspirating pipe, and PIP-012 is the 250 ml ABS solvent cement for that work. It bonds pipe to pipe, and may also be used to take fittings such as sockets, socket unions, elbows, bends, tees and end caps onto the pipe.
The liquid and its vapours are flammable and the product is extremely flammable, so work only outdoors or in a well-ventilated place, keep it clear of heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources, and wear protective clothing, gloves and eye and face protection. It causes serious eye irritation, may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and contains epoxy resin (average molecular weight ≤ 700), which may provoke an allergic reaction. Where the airborne concentration exceeds 10 mg/m3, dust protection is needed. Water spray, dry powder or carbon dioxide are the extinguishing media, and thermal decomposition or combustion can release carbon oxides and other toxic gases or vapours.
