The PIP-002-W is a white 25 mm ABS pipe socket (joint) fitting for aspirating detection pipework, supplied in packs of 10. Made from ABS within the Pipes and Fittings range, it joins 25 mm ASD sampling pipe runs and is also referenced under code 530-EMP-B.
Technical overview
PIP-002-W is a white socket fitting that joins lengths of 25 mm aspirating smoke detection sampling pipe, part of the Pipework, Fittings & Fixtures range and moulded in ABS. Ten fittings make up each pack, and the white finish sets this joint apart from the red PIP-002 and grey PIP-002-G siblings that cover the same joining duty.
Companion fittings in the same white finish, the PIP-007-W end cap and the PIP-008-W equal tee, are recommended alongside the socket and match its 25 mm sizing. Physical connection and assembly guidance for the fitting appears in the installation manual.
