Description

The Yuasa NP1.2-12 is an NP-Series 12 V Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) sealed lead acid battery rated 1.2 Ah at the 20-hour rate (1.1 Ah at the 10-hour rate). EUROBAT-classified as Standard Commercial 3 to 5 years (IEC61056), it offers a Yuasa design life of up to 5 years at 20C and an expected five-year service life in float standby applications. It floats at 13.65 V (2.275 V/cell) and accepts a cyclic boost charge of 14.5 V (2.42 V/cell) at 20C.

NP1.2-12 is a Yuasa NP-Series 12 V Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) sealed lead acid battery. It is rated at 1.2 Ah capacity at the 20-hour rate and 1.1 Ah at the 10-hour rate, both measured to 1.75 V per cell at 20°C. The battery carries an EUROBAT Standard Commercial classification of 3 to 5 years under IEC61056, with a Yuasa design life of up to 5 years at 20°C and an expected five-year service life in float standby applications.

Float charging is specified at 13.65 V (2.275 V per cell) with a tolerance of ±1%, while cyclic boost charging accepts 14.5 V (2.42 V per cell) at ±3%. Temperature correction factors are -3 mV/cell/°C for float charge and -4 mV/cell/°C for cyclic charge. The maximum discharge current for one minute is 12 A, and cyclic boost charge current is limited to 0.3 A, with no limit applied to float charge current. It supersedes the RB12FR model and is manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. For physical wiring and terminal details, consult the NP series installation documentation.
