Description

The Morley-IAS Max MA-1000-01 is a Morley MAx 1 Loop multiprocessor fire detection control panel built on CAN bus technology for a wide range of installations. It features a 7" TFT touch display (800 x 480, 256 colours) and two high-speed, opto-isolated CAN bus lines, allowing up to 64 panels or 128 loops to be networked together. With four EN54 access levels, up to 2000 soft zones, control-by-event equations and a historical log storing 10,000 events, it scales from standalone use to large networked systems.

MA-1000-01 is a Morley Addressable Panels fire detection control panel from the Morley Max range, specifically a multiprocessor unit designed for single-loop operation with expandable networking capabilities. It features a 7" TFT touch display with 800 x 480 resolution and 256 colours, providing clear visual feedback during operation and system configuration.

The panel incorporates two high-speed, opto-isolated CAN bus lines, enabling the networking of up to 64 panels or 128 loops in a unified system. This architecture supports scalability from standalone installations to large, distributed networks, with logical group capacity increasing from 400 in standalone mode to 1600 when fully networked. It includes four EN54-compliant access levels, up to 2000 soft zones, and control-by-event equations for customised cause-and-effect programming.

Additional capabilities include a historical log storing 10,000 events plus 4,000 active events in non-volatile memory, auto-programming lines that recognise connected device models, and decision algorithms for alarm, pre-alarm and fault conditions. The unit is certified to EN54-2, EN54-4 and EN54-13 standards and offers multiple mounting options, including special frames for flush installation beyond standard wall mounting. Compatibility extends to networks with other Morley MAx panels over CAN bus, and it is suitable for use in hotels, offices, hospitals, industrial environments and production facilities. Physical wiring details are provided in the installation manual. A compatible bezel accessory (MA-1BZL) is available for front-panel finishing.
