Description

The Honeywell FSL100-UVIR is an ultraviolet and infrared flame detector with a 25 m/80 ft range, alarming within 10 seconds to a 1 ft2 (0.1 m2) n-heptane fire. EN54-10 sensitivity Class 2 and ATEX Zone 2/22. Operating temperature -40 ˚C to +70 ˚C.

The FSL100-UVIR is the Ultraviolet and Infrared flame detector in the Honeywell FSL100 Series Flame Detectors UV, UV/IR, IR3 range.

The manufacturer gives the Range as 110 ft /35 m (IR3), 25 m/80 ft (UV, UV/IR) alarming within 10 seconds to a 1 ft2(0.1 m2)n-heptane fire, and an Alarm response time 8 to 30 sec. EN54-10 sensitivity is given as FSL100-UVIR: Class 2 (see manual), and the ATEX certificate as FSL100-UVIR: ATEX Zone 2/22 (see manual).

Temperature, operating is -40 ˚F to +158 ˚F (-40 ˚C to +70 ˚C).

Honeywell states that the FSL100-UV and FSL100-UVIR detectors are mounted at least 1.5m (6 ft), below the ceiling. After commissioning, the flame detectors must be functionally tested by means of a test lamp.
