The Honeywell FSL100-IR3 is a triple-infrared (IR3) flame detector from the FSL100 series of mid-market detectors. Carrying an EN54-10 high-sensitivity certificate and FM3260 approval, it is suitable for ATEX zone 2/22 and FM 3611 Class 1, 2 & 3 Div 2 hazardous areas.
Technical overview
FSL100-IR3 is a flame detector designed for hazardous area monitoring. It operates within a 90-degree cone of vision and detects flames up to 115 feet away. The device is suitable for use in ATEX zone 2/22 environments and FM 3611 Class 1, 2 and 3 Division 2 locations. It holds EN54-10 high sensitivity certification and FM3260 approval.
The unit functions in operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, with a restricted range of -25°C to +70°C when deployed under ATEX and FM Class 3611 conditions. It is housed in a red enclosure rated IP65 for dust and water resistance. Alarm response time ranges from 8 to 30 seconds depending on fire conditions.
Optional accessories include a white housing variant (FSL100-IR3-W), a swivel mount (FSL100-SM21), and various test lamp configurations such as FSL100-TL and its intrinsically safe counterpart FSL100-TLX. Physical wiring and connection details are specified in the installation manual.
