The F-PC-HE-6 is a Harsh Environment aspirating smoke detection sampling hole identification clip sized for a 6.0mm (15/64) sampling hole. Moulded in PC/ABS with a RAL9005 body and a variable-material TPE seal, it fits tube of 25mm to 27mm outer diameter. At 55mm by 30.5mm and 11g, it delivers a colour-coded, precisely sized sampling point across the pipe network.
Technical overview
F-PC-HE-6 serves VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems as a Harsh Environment sampling hole identification clip sized for a 6.0mm (15/64) sampling hole.
Each clip is a single piece that clicks into position without tools or part assembly, fitting ASD pipe of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter once 10mm (27/64") drill holes have been created at the sampling points. The body is moulded in PC/ABS and paired with a variable-material TPE seal.
Two traits define the Harsh Environment format here: a flexi-lip design that helps hold back blockage of the sampling hole, and a chamfered hole entry that reduces dust loading effects, helping to increase uptime and potentially extending test intervals. Colour coding assigned accordingly to IEC 60062 standard resistor code distinguishes the 6.0mm size on the installed run, with physical connection detail set out in the installation instructions.
