Description
The Xtralis F-PC-HE-5 is a Harsh Environment sampling point hole clip from the VESDA/FAAST Sampling Hole Identification (CLIP) system, carrying a pre-engineered 5.0mm (13/64) sampling hole. Moulded in PC/ABS with a RAL9005 body, it fits tube of 25mm to 27mm outer diameter. At 55mm by 30.5mm and 11g, it provides a colour-coded, precisely sized sampling point for aspirating smoke detection.

F-PC-HE-5 provides the 5.0mm (13/64) Harsh Environment size in the VESDA Sampling Hole Clip range, an Xtralis sampling point hole clip within the Honeywell FAAST/VESDA Sampling Hole Identification (CLIP) System for aspirating smoke detection pipework.
Dusty conditions shape the design. A chamfered hole entry reduces dust loading effects, helping to increase uptime and potentially extending test intervals, and the moulding carries the flexi-lip design characteristic of the Harsh Environment clips.
Installers create 10mm (27/64") drill holes for all sampling points, then click each single-piece clip into position on tube of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter - an installation-ready design with no assembly and no tooling. Colour coding assigned accordingly to the IEC 60062 standard resistor code identifies the 5.0mm clip against other sizes, and the installation instructions carry the remaining fitting detail.
