Description
The Xtralis F-PC-HE-4.5 is a Harsh Environment VESDA/FAAST sampling point hole clip supplied as a single, ready-to-fit colour-coded piece with a pre-engineered 4.5mm (11/64) sampling hole. Constructed in PC/ABS with a RAL9005 body, it fits tube of 25mm to 27mm outer diameter. Measuring 55mm by 30.5mm and weighing 11g, it standardises sampling hole sizing across aspirating smoke detection pipe runs.

F-PC-HE-4.5 is a one-piece Xtralis Harsh Environment sampling point hole clip for aspirating smoke detection, moulded with a pre-engineered 4.5mm (11/64) sampling hole and used for sampling hole identification across ASD pipe networks. Nothing about the part needs assembling, and no tools are involved in fitting it.
The 4.5mm size takes its place in a colour-coded scheme, with colours assigned accordingly to the IEC 60062 standard resistor code so that each hole size stays identifiable after the pipework is complete. A flexi-lip design gives the Harsh Environment variants their means of reducing leakage at the sampling hole.
On site, a 10mm (27/64") drill bit creates all sampling holes; each clip then clicks onto pipe of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter and seats firmly without slipping. Fitting detail beyond this sits with the installation instructions, the reference for full functionality.
