Description
The Xtralis F-PC-5.5 is an ASD (Aspirating Smoke Detection) sampling point hole CLIP, Standard variant, sized for a 5.5mm (7/32 inch) sampling hole and part of the Honeywell/FAAST CLIP Hole Identification System. Moulded in RAL9005 PC/ABS with a variable TPE rubber, it fits tube outer diameters of 25mm to 27mm. It measures 55 x 30.5mm, weighs 11g and is rated to a maximum pipe network pressure of 7 bar.

F-PC-5.5 covers the 5.5mm (7/32 inch) position among the Standard-variant sampling point clips of the Honeywell CLIP Hole Identification System, an Xtralis fitting for aspirating smoke detection (ASD) pipe networks.
Two steps put the clip on a network: sampling holes are first drilled with a 10mm (27/64") bit, then the relevant colour-coded clip is placed over its hole and pressed until a click confirms it has seated. The hold is firm and non-slip on tube of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter, with no part assembly or tools involved.
Around this size sit sibling Standard clips from F-PC-2 through F-PC-6.5, Harsh Environment equivalents F-PC-HE-2 through F-PC-HE-6.5, and the blind pipe clip F-PC-0. The moulded body is PC/ABS in RAL9005 with a variable-material TPE rubber, and colour coding follows the IEC 60062 standard resistor code.
