The Xtralis F-PC-4.5 is a standard-variant ASD (Aspirating Smoke Detection) sampling point hole clip with a pre-engineered 4.5mm (11/64 inch) sampling hole, part of the Honeywell/VESDA/FAAST CLIP Hole Identification System. Moulded in RAL9005 PC/ABS with a variable TPE rubber, it fits tube outer diameters of 25mm to 27mm. It measures 55 x 30.5mm and weighs 11g.
Technical overview
F-PC-4.5 belongs to the Standard series of the VESDA Sampling Hole Clip / Honeywell CLIP Hole Identification System, an Xtralis aspirating smoke detection (ASD) sampling point clip carrying a pre-engineered 4.5mm (11/64 inch) hole.
The range around this size runs from Standard variants F-PC-2 through F-PC-6.5 to Harsh Environment counterparts F-PC-HE-2 through F-PC-HE-6.5, with colour coding assigned to the IEC 60062 standard resistor code keeping every hole size identifiable across a pipe network.
A one-piece design needing no part assembly or tools, the clip clicks into a firm, non-slip position on tubes of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter once 10mm drill holes have been created at the sampling points. Fitting detail is contained in the installation instructions, and the body is moulded in RAL9005 PC/ABS with a variable-material TPE rubber.
