Description
The Xtralis F-PC-2.5 is a standard-variant VESDA/FAAST Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) sampling hole clip with a pre-engineered 2.5mm (6/64 inch) sampling hole, part of Honeywell's colour-coded CLIP Hole Identification System. Moulded in RAL9005 PC/ABS with a variable TPE rubber, it fits tube outer diameters of 25mm to 27mm. It measures 55 x 30.5mm and weighs 11g.

F-PC-2.5 equips VESDA and FAAST aspirating smoke detection pipework with a pre-engineered 2.5mm (6/64 inch) sampling hole, taking the form of an Xtralis Standard clip within Honeywell's CLIP Hole Identification System.
No wiring applies to this passive clip; full functionality instead depends on following the installation instructions. Sampling pipe of 25 mm to 27 mm outer diameter accepts the clip, and 10mm drill holes are specified for all sampling points.
Design details centre on serviceability: a chamfered hole entry that limits dust loading, supporting uptime and potentially longer test intervals, and an installation-ready form that clicks into position without tools or part assembly. Mouldings combine PC/ABS (body colour RAL9005) with a TPE rubber of variable material. Application limits span -30 °C to +45 °C and 5% to 95% relative humidity, and sealing leakage of up to 5% becomes possible once ambient temperatures exceed 45 °C.
