CWSO-RR-W1 IP65 Conventional Sounder, Red 107dB 32-Tone

CWSO-RR-W1 is a Conventional non-addressable sounder from the Red IP65 deep base wall and ceiling mount range, featuring an integrated deep base for enhanced environmental protection. It delivers a maximum sound output of 107dB(A) at 1m and offers 32 selectable tones, including a bell tone, with high or medium volume control for adaptable signalling in demanding fire alarm applications.

Constructed from flame-retardant PC/ABS, the device operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -25°C to 70°C and withstands relative humidity up to 93% ±3% non-condensing. Its IP65 rating helps ensure resistance to dust and water jets, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor surface mounting in challenging environments.

The sounder functions on a flexible 9 to 29VDC operating voltage, approved to EN54-3 standards at both low (9-14V) and high (18-29V) ranges, with an average current consumption of 31mA at 29VDC when Tone 8 is selected. Cable termination is supported for conductors between 0.5mm² and 2.5mm², and the unit has a gross weight of 197g for the standard device configuration or 207g with the first fix option.

Physical wiring and terminal connections follow the details outlined in the installation manual, and the unit is compatible with a range of accessories including deep base gaskets (PS189), O-rings (PS188), and earth straps (SC076), all available in packs of five. It belongs to the same product range as the CWSO-RR-S1 and CWSO-WW-S1 sounders, sharing design and performance characteristics.
