The BSO-PP-I00 is an addressable detector base sounder with isolator, and it works on the System Sensor Protocol. Isolation is integral to the unit. The address is dialled in at the device itself on rotary decade address switches, and 32 built-in tones sit in the sounder.
Low power requirements are stated for the device, and peak draw reaches < 10.5mA (High Volume Tone 21 @24V). Physically the base sounder stands 64mm high on a 121mm diameter and weighs 202g. An Anti-Tamper feature is fitted, and IP65 is available as an option.
The device is rated for operation from -25°C to +70°C. Humidity is allowed up to Max. 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). Two cover plates for base sounders are compatible with it: the white IBS-LIDPW and the ivory IBS-LIDDW.
