The Gent BSO-PP-I00 is a modular, high-output loop-powered intelligent detector base strobe, classified EN54-23 Category C, intended to alert all building occupants of a potential fire. Integrating the strobe into the detector base, it draws power and signalling from the addressable loop.
Technical overview
BSO-PP-I00 is an addressable loop-powered base sounder, featuring an integral isolator and designed for fire alarm applications. It is a Pure White Body c/w Isolator unit, approved to EN54-3 standards, and operates on the System Sensor Protocol.
The device has a height of 64mm and a diameter of 121mm, weighing 202g. It draws less than 10.5mA at high volume Tone 21 when powered at 24V and offers 32 built-in tones; rotary decade switches set the device address. An anti-tamper feature is incorporated for security.
Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +70°C with a maximum relative humidity of 95% non-condensing. Low power requirements are supported, and an optional IP65 rating is available for enhanced environmental protection. It is compatible with white and ivory cover plates for base sounders.
