What it is and how it fits the system.
The Morley DXc1 is a one-loop fire alarm control panel running from 230 V AC (±15 %, 50–60 Hz) with a 24 V DC 2 A power supply. Its mild steel rear enclosure and ABS front cover are rated IP30 and finished in RAL 9002 grey white, measuring 260 x 390 x 147 mm and weighing 4 kg excluding batteries. Twenty-five top and two bottom 20 mm knockouts ease cable entry on compact installations.
Technical overview
714-001-111 is the order code for the Morley DXc1, the one-loop fire alarm control panel in the Morley DXc range. Multi-protocol working defines the DXc platform: the panel accepts Apollo devices from the Xplorer, XP95 and Discovery families, Hochiki ESP devices and System Sensor protocol devices.
Every display and control sits on the enclosure door, and the electronics run from a 230 V AC mains connection through an internal power supply delivering 24 V DC at up to 2 A, with a fused auxiliary output for ancillary equipment. Two sounder circuits are provided at 1 A per circuit. On the data side, an onboard RS485 port is dedicated to repeater connection, a PC programming port handles configuration, and an optional RS232 port opens a third-party protocol interface.
Programming support comes from the 795-097 DXc software programming kit, which spans the same System Sensor, Apollo and Hochiki protocols. For recessed installation the 795-112 flush bezel kit suits the DXc1 small enclosure, with the 795-114 kit covering panels fitted with the extension backbox, and the PRINTER-HAND 58 mm thermal handheld printer can be connected to the panel.
