Description

Power Sharing technology supports configurable allocation of 2000W power, each channel 500W/100V at maximum, and the four channels are set individually on the channel rotary switch.

The amplifier drives speakers directly at 100V, with four outputs at the back for connection to the GNP Controller/ VARIODYN® Dl DOM module, and audio reaches it through the connectors marked AUDIO INPUT from a VARIODYN® ONE INC or VARIODYN® Dl DOM. An external 24V DC backup power supply is taken to the BACKUP SUPPLY connector, giving a fully monitored standby feed should the mains fail. The CONFIG DIP switch handles signal LEDs sensitivity, DC monitoring and CAN address, all switches sitting in the OFF position by factory default.

The 4XDPS2000, part number 585034, is a constant voltage audio power amplifier with direct output to speakers, based on class D amplifier modules technology improved by a Power Sharing feature. It carries 4 Channels and 2000W in total with Power Sharing Technology, in a unit of 2 HU standard height, each channel capable of 500W/100V at maximum.

Channel output power is set by the channel rotary switch marked OUTPUT POWER, whose step is 10% of maximum power, the factory default for each channel being 100% of maximum. Mains voltage is 230V AC, ± 10% over a mains frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz through an IEC connector, while an external 24V DC (-10%+15%) feed acts as backup power supply. Channel Enable, Channel Disable and Power Saving Mode are the operation modes.
