Built in metal and rated IP 65, 582473 covers positions indoors and outdoors alike, its protection class guaranteeing universal applicability.
Termination is at the ceramic terminal, which with the mounted thermal fuse enables application in compliance with BS5839 Part 8. A pre-mounted fire-resistant, 6-core connection cable of 0.90 m carries the circuit into the housing. The shell spans Ø: 140 mm across and D: 195 mm deep, weighs approx. 2.62 kg, wears a white finish similar to RAL 9003 and tolerates -25 °C ... 55 °C. It is approved to EN 54-24 under 0359/CPD/0172.

582473 is a 10 W unidirectional sound projector in metal, approved as per EN 54-24, 0359/CPD/0172. Its IP 65 protection class guarantees universal applicability indoors as well as outdoors.
The projector features a broad frequency response and a high degree of efficiency, and transformer power taps of 10 / 5 / 2,5 / 1,25 W set the level at each position. A mounted thermal fuse together with the ceramic terminal enables application in compliance with BS5839 Part 8.
Connection is made through a pre-mounted fire-resistant, 6-core connection cable of 0.90 m. The body measures Ø: 140 mm D: 195 mm, weighs approx. 2.62 kg and is finished white, similar to RAL 9003. Ambient operation is rated -25 °C ... 55 °C.
