Gent 2211-143 EN54 Vigilon Main Control Card (MCC)

2211-143 is a Main Control Card designed for use in EN54 Vigilon fire alarm panels. It features a Chip 2211-143 V4.xx and requires VERSION 4.30 OR GREATER (VIG-MCC-EN S/W 2211-143) for operation. The card measures 157mm in height and 100mm in width, with an approximate weight of 96g. It includes a USB port for commissioning tool connection and is fitted with either 6 or 12 LEDs on the control indication facia for zone status indication.

Power is maintained by a Lithium Battery CR2032 3V cell, which must be replaced only with the same or equivalent type. The device operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C and can be stored between -10°C and 55°C, with relative humidity tolerance up to 90% non-condensing. It is designed to fit into the Backplane slot marked P1 (MCC/LCC) or socket P1 CARD 0 on compatible Vigilon panels.

Compatibility is established with VIG-MCC-EN (V4.30 and above) for EN54 Vigilon 4-loop panels featuring zone LEDs, and it is compatible with Vigilon panels using VIG-MCC-EN Main Control Card and the S-Quad range of sensors. The card is suitable for EN Vigilon panels and inner doors supplied after 15th February 2005, though the inner door requires VIG-MCC-EN S/W 2211-143 version 4.30 or greater. It must not be installed in BS versions of Vigilon or 34000 Fire panels. Connection to the panel is via DKC ribbon cables to P2 (20-way) and P4 (40-way) on the MCC, with the commissioning tool linking through the USB port.
