- Optical and Thermal SensingThe 22051TE-26 combines an optical smoke sensor and a thermal sensor as two separate sensing elements in a single housing.
- Thermal Assistance to Photoelectric CoreThermal assistance to the core photoelectric smoke detector gives enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires.
- EN54-7 and EN54-5 ConformanceIt conforms to EN54-7, with 58°C fixed temperature and rate of rise thermal assistance conforming to EN54-5.
- Six Alarm LevelsLevels run from 1%/ft smoke and 2%/ft smoke through 3%/ft smoke at levels 3, 4 and 5, with Class A1R at level 6.
- Analogue Addressable Field DeviceThe detector answers as an analogue addressable field device on the System Sensor Protocol and operates on 15 to 32Vdc.
- Standby and LED CurrentStandby demand is 200 µA at 24Vdc without communications and 300 µA at 24Vdc under LED blink once every 5s, alongside 3.5mA at 24Vdc of LED current.
- B501AP Base RequiredThe sensor requires a B501AP base and measures 102mm in diameter once installed in it.
- Environmental and Terminal LimitsIt is rated for -30°C to +70°C and 10 to 93% relative humidity (non-condensing), with terminals taking a maximum wire gauge of 2.5mm².
Description
Two detection principles sit in one detector head here: an optical smoke sensor and a thermal sensor work as discrete elements, so the photoelectric core gains thermal assistance and with it enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response across a wide range of incipient fires. The head is white, moulded from PC/ABS, and must be mounted on a B501AP base.
The detector conforms to EN54-7, and its 58°C fixed temperature and rate of rise thermal assistance conforms to EN54-5. Alarm levels run 1%/ft smoke, 2%/ft smoke and then 3%/ft smoke for levels 3 to 5, with Class A1R named at level 6.
The 22051TE-26 is an S200A optical/thermal multi sensor, a multi-criteria detector that carries an optical smoke sensor and a thermal sensor as two separate sensing elements in a single White housing. Thermal assistance is applied to the core photoelectric smoke detector, giving enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires. Conformance is to EN54-7, with 58°C fixed temperature and rate of rise thermal assistance conforming to EN54-5.
Six alarm levels are defined. Level 1 sits at 1%/ft smoke and level 2 at 2%/ft smoke, levels 3, 4 and 5 are each set at 3%/ft smoke, and level 6 is given as Class A1R.

An analogue addressable field device, it accepts 15 to 32Vdc, with peak standby demand of 300 µA at 24Vdc under LED blink once every 5s and LED current of 3.5mA at 24Vdc. Installed diameter is 102mm, terminal capacity reaches 2.5mm², and the detector is rated for -30°C to +70°C.

Operating voltage spans 15 to 32Vdc. Standby demand reaches 200 µA at 24Vdc where no communications are taking place, or 300 µA at 24Vdc when LED blink is enabled to flash once every 5s, and the LED itself accounts for 3.5mA at 24Vdc. The detector is one of a family of System Sensor Protocol Analogue Addressable Field Devices. Its PC/ABS body measures 102mm in diameter once installed in a B501AP base, which the sensor requires, and terminals take conductors up to 2.5mm². The working envelope is -30°C to +70°C at 10 to 93% relative humidity (non-condensing).
