The Morley 22051TE-26 is a multi-sensor detector that combines an optical smoke sensor and a thermal sensor within a single white housing. By fusing two sensing technologies in one device, it broadens fire detection coverage across addressable systems. It mounts on the B501AP base.
Technical overview
22051TE-26 is a multi-sensor combined optical smoke and thermal detector in the Addressable Detection range. It uses thermal assistance to enhance the core photoelectric smoke detector, providing improved false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires. The device conforms to EN54-7 for smoke detection and incorporates a 58°C fixed temperature and rate of rise thermal element that meets EN54-5 standards.
Designed for use with System Sensor Protocol Analogue Addressable Field Devices, it operates on a 15 to 32Vdc voltage range. Maximum standby current is 200µA at 24Vdc without communications, or 300µA with LED blink enabled once every five seconds. The LED draws 3.5mA at 24Vdc. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C, with relative humidity tolerance of 10 to 93% non-condensing.
Constructed from PC/ABS material in a white finish, the detector has a diameter of 102mm when installed in the required B501AP base. It supports multiple alarm levels from 1%/ft to 3%/ft smoke sensitivity, with a Class A1R response for the highest setting. Maximum wire gauge for terminals is 2.5mm². Physical connection details must be referenced in the installation manual.
