Description
The 22051E-26 optical smoke sensor is a plug-in unit for the System Sensor Protocol, and a B501AP base is required before it can be installed. Its low profile housing is PC/ABS, finished in white.
Photoelectric detection takes place in a chamber of completely new design. Working supply for the sensor is 15 to 32Vdc; the temperature limits are -30°C to +70°C and 10 to 93% relative humidity (non-condensing) applies. 22051E-26 is an S200A low profile optical smoke sensor in a white plug-in housing, and it requires a B501AP base. Detection is photoelectric and is built around a completely new detection chamber design, the result of many years of research and development.
That chamber brings improved responsiveness, reduced sensitivity to changes caused by settling dust and reduced false alarms resulting from ingress of insect and other debris. Sophisticated processing circuitry incorporates smoothing filters to help eliminate transient environmental noise conditions that can be the cause of unwanted alarms.
Housing material is PC/ABS. Installed in a B501AP base the sensor spans 102mm, stands 52mm high and weighs 97g including that base. Supply is 15 to 32Vdc, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C and 10 to 93% relative humidity (non-condensing). The LED draws 3.5mA at 24Vdc. The sensor communicates on the System Sensor Protocol.
