Description
Routing Termination Unit 1, the 020-773, also carries the short designation RTU01. It is a termination unit intended for the Fault Routing output of the 795-132 System IO Card Interface, and it works alongside that card.
With the RTU01 in place, the whole transmission path through to the transmission device can be monitored in full. That supervision is what lets a system satisfy EN54-2 OWR 8.9.
