Morley-IAS 002-492-282 Horizon HRZ8E 8-Zone Fire Panel

002-492-282 is an 8 zone Non-Addressable fire alarm control panel from the Conventional Horizon Panels range. It provides 8 detection circuits, two monitored sounder outputs rated at 0.5 Amps each, and fire and fault relays. The panel operates from a 230 Vac 50/60 Hz supply with a ±15% tolerance and delivers an internal DC output between +18.5 and +28.5 Vdc, capable of supplying up to 1.8 Amps maximum while limiting alarm load to 1 Amp.

Standby power is supported by sealed lead-acid batteries, with minimum capacity of 2 x 12 V 2.8Ah and maximum of 2 x 12 V 7Ah. An auxiliary output provides the same DC voltage range at up to 0.5 Amp, and 22 configurable digital inputs are available for functions such as Class Change, Alert, Evacuate and Reset, triggered by extended closing contacts. The unit is housed in a fire retardant ABS plastic enclosure with IP30 rating, measuring 318 x 356 x 96 mm and weighing approximately 2 Kg without batteries.

Optional enhancements include a relay card providing one fire relay with changeover contacts rated at 30Vdc and 1 Amp. Compatibility extends to Apollo Series 60, Series 65 and Orbis detectors, as well as System Sensor ECO1000 and Series 300 devices. Additional accessories such as the Horizon Relay Kit (order code 020-713), Active End Of Line Kit (020-417), and various input/output cards are available for expanded functionality.
