Description

The Morley-IAS Horizon HRZ2E is a 2-zone conventional fire alarm control panel from the Horizon HRZ Series, supplied complete with the 020-713 fire & fault relay. Running on a 230Vac 50/60Hz supply, it delivers up to 1.8A from an 18.5 to 28.5Vdc internal power supply and supports a maximum 1A alarm load. Two monitored sounder outputs rated 0.5A per circuit and sealed lead-acid standby batteries from 2.8Ah to 7Ah make it a dependable choice for compact two-zone installations.

The Conventional Horizon HRZ2E is a compact two-zone conventional fire alarm control panel (002-492-222) built for smaller installations. It runs from a 230 Vac 50/60 Hz mains supply with a ±15% tolerance, and its internal power supply delivers a regulated DC output of between +18.5 and +28.5 Vdc, rated to 1.8 Amps. Alarm loading is capped at 1 Amp, and two monitored sounder circuits are provided, each rated at 0.5 Amps.

Standby power comes from sealed lead-acid batteries, accommodating pairs of 12 V cells from 2.8Ah up to 7Ah so run-time can be matched to the site. An auxiliary output offers the same +18.5 to +28.5 Vdc rail at up to 0.5 Amp, while 22 configurable digital inputs cover functions including Class Change, Alert, Evacuate and Reset. Detection wiring can be arranged as 2, 4 or 8 circuits, each drawing around 2 mA and typically carrying more than 20 detectors, giving flexibility as the layout grows.
